Bangle Care ✨

Our Bangles are handmade & 14k gold-filled. Though they are water + tarnish resistant, for best results and long-lasting wear, please refer to our Care & Reshape Guide.

    Care Guide:

      • Avoid harsh chemicals: Keep away from perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, chlorine, and saltwater.
      • Limit water exposure: Occasional contact is fine, but remove before showering, swimming, or sweating heavily.
      • Store properly: Keep bangles in a dry place, laid flat or in a soft pouch to prevent bending and scratching.
      • Clean gently: Wipe with a soft cloth after wear; use mild soap and water if needed, then dry completely.
      • Put on last, take off first: Apply skincare and fragrance before wearing to reduce buildup.
      • Avoid pressure: Remove before sleeping or activities that may put weight on your wrists (or refer to our “Reshape Guide” section below).

Our Bangles are 14 gauge and are slightly flexible, so you may find your Bangle to bend with constant wear. You are able to bend it back into shape with these tips:

    Reshape Guide:

To reshape, slide the bangle over a round object (like a glass or jar).

Gently press and adjust the shape evenly around the circle.

Make small, gradual adjustments- avoid bending the same spot repeatedly.

Store bangles flat and avoid pressure to help maintain their shape.

Hafa Adai! Our names are Nicole and Daniel, we are the owners of Isla Charms!

Nicole was born and raised on the island of Guam. She grew up loving jewelry and collecting shells on the beach. At the age of 12, she learned the basics of jewelry making from her auntie, and this knowledge would stay with her throughout her young adult life. During the Pandemic, with a lot of time on her hands, the idea of Isla Charms came to be. Nicole wanted to combine her love of jewelry making with the island influences of her home’s natural beauty and its style + culture. With the support of her partner, Daniel, and his entrepreneurial mindset, they were able to take Nicole’s hobby and grow it into a small business. And none of it would’ve been possible without the support of their family, friends, and the local communities that have been there from the beginning. Thank you for being along this journey!
