    Meet Isla Charms

    Håfa Adai! My name is Nicole, and I am the owner and creator of Isla Charms.

    I was born and raised on the island of Guam, and growing up, I had a lot of hobbies. One of them being jewelry making. When I was 12 years old, I would spend summers at my auntie’s bead shop where she would teach me all the jewelry making basics, and I instantly fell in love with creating pieces.

    Another hobby I enjoyed was collecting sea shells. Every time I was at the beach, I was picking up shells- because of how unique each one was. I loved growing up on Guam and developing an adoration of the natural beauty the island had to offer.

    With the combined passion I had for both of these hobbies, the idea of Isla Charms came to be. 

    When I initially started Isla Charms, I was still attending college as a full time student. By May of 2021, I graduated from Biola University with a Business degree. And, with the knowledge I gained from school, I was able to pursue Isla Charms as my full time career.

    I have been blessed by the immense support I received since I first started my small business. I am so grateful to use handmade jewelry inspired by the islands to create a brand I am truly proud of.
